"Skin Needling is also called micro-needling or collagen induction theraphy. It is a minimally-invasive non-surgical and nonablative procedure for facial rejuvenation that involves the use of a micro-needling device to create controled skin injury". Skin needling is the latest skin reneal technique to restore the healthy appearance of facial skin. A Dermapen is used for skin needling as this is more accurate, safer and far more effective.
The Dermapen uses mulitple fine needles that peirce the skin with an automatic vibrating function. It creates microscopic channels that penetrate into the dermis (the deeper layer of the skin). The skin is stimulated to produce more collagen fibres and other growth factors without any damamge to the erpidermis (the top layer of the skin).
